This is a little late but I have a very special Valentine’s story to share. Walker and I came home last week and he ran to his room and said that he needed to finish his card for daddy. So he diligently colored in the train and the hearts. So before daddy came home he wanted to hide it. I had not seen the finished product at this point. Daddy came home and he rushed back to his room to retrieve the card. He presented his work of art and read it aloud to both of us. He had put both mommy and daddy on the card but hadn’t told me. He was grinning ear to ear.
The best part of the story is how he makes sure that we share the card equally. The first night he puts it on daddy’s night stand and the following night he puts it on my night stand. This has been going on for about a week now and he still makes sure that we are sharing the card equally. Long after Walker goes to bed I often find little pictures or miscellaneous things on my night stand. It always brings a smile to my face. Tonight I believe there is a special Pokeman card waiting for me.
