Some of us have it. Most of us want it. But few of us can define it. According to the Declaration of Independence we are all entitled to "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
Pursuit. Ummm… that is an interesting way to put it. Basically we are all entitled to have it if we want it. That is pretty much how I interpret it. For some of us it appears to take much more of the pursuing before we get what we are striving for and then there are those who never break a sweat.
I would like to believe that all is fair in this world of ours and that what goes around comes around. For some of these things I have been waiting quite a long, long, long time (years to be exact). I have worked for some wonderful people and not so wonderful people. But then again who hasn’t.
So here I continue to wait to see if what goes around actually comes around. Just for the record there are several things I am waiting on.
This post may seem like alot of rambling but hopefully will become clear once the smoke clears. I will keep you all posted.
It’s called karma and I do believe in it. If you create good karma, it will come back to you. And the reverse is true as well. The only problem is, that kind of payback doesn’t always happen on the timetable we would prefer. Sometimes we don’t even get to see it happen. After many experiences in my life with karma and what goes around comes around I can say with authority that it does happen. And if you don’t get to see it or it doesn’t happen when you think it should – rest assured it will.I believe that the pursuit of happiness is our right, but that happiness itself is created by us, for ourselves. We don’t have the right to be happy, just the right to seek out happiness. We all need to create better karma in our own lives, so that the pursuit of happiness doesn’t have to be so arduous all the time.
